Bio:

   Charles & Dawn Forman have been pastoring for nearly 6 years in Marseille, France.  I, (Charlie) began life in France with no French language skills.  Going to school in Aix en Provence to learn French I contacted a number of Chinese students studying French in France, but typically already speaking english very well.  They were very open to the Gospel and a number were saved and began going to church; which at the time was being held in our living room.  Recently our immigrant status was granted (March of 2006) and we were able to rent a building and form a legal church entity - which is required for such things as renting a building and any matters involving finances in France.  These days we have several handfuls of faithful people coming and are established in our location in the center of town.  
   Well, it has been a long road to learning the language, but we have arrived to a reasonable level of comprehension and speaking the language.  We have had great times with outreach teams coming in for us since the later half of 2007 and are anticipating great things with a number of teams scheduled to come in for us in the spring and summer of 2008.     We praise the Lord for the great privilege of being involved in ministry here in France.
